You Are a Spirit
As spirits, you are pure. Spirits cannot be remade or reproduced. Spirit is God’s essence. You are a spirit.
Although we are pure spirits, we physically express ourselves through our souls. The soul needs to constantly change and grow to express our actual being as spirits adequately. Spirit beings use their souls as the only tool to express their being. Therefore, if the soul is disabled, it will indeed express the spirit as handicapped.
Personal Development
When I say personal development, I mean the development of our souls, not our spirits. So this wisdom is for reshaping our souls.
Romans 12:2
Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].
